Well, they tell you to...Personally, I havn't pulled them and I've done about 2 dozen loads (changing programs) It's probably safer to remove them, but being the redneck that I am, I don't bother.
I do, however make sure that the radio is off, thedoors are shut, and that I set the e-brake as to not have any lights on.

Keep in mind though, I have friends that work for GM dealerships, so if I do screw something up, it's not likely to cost me as much as it would a regular walk-in customer http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I also have done quite a bit of uploading/downloading without pulling fuses. I also turn off radio and auto lights. No problems so far

I have onstar and i never pull fuses. And a couple of times onstar sent a signal. All it does is say...( The tune didnot upload please try again) and redo it and it works.

I need to go back and look at my manual again. I think I remember it having all the fuse pulling information in a section for those that have Onstar.

Since I don't have Onstar I haven't been pulling mine.
