I got myself a predator finally for my 02 LB7, and I cannot get it to turn on so I can do a tune or anything. I checked my fuses and none are blown that I could find. If anyone else here can help me figure this out help.:help:

Ooh and it works in other OBDII vehicles. If someone knows a magic fuse it'd be cool.

It's your cigarette lighter fuse.

Not to change your post, but could someone explain to me how you change settings (HP) on the predator? Do you have to be stopped to do it as the edge can be done on the "fly" I think.

Well, I think McRat answered adamcoles question..
So, to answer yours, ssgreg.

(1) the tunes are not switchable on the fly
(2) you change the settings with the truck off, with the key in the "run" position
(3) with the key on and all other components turned off (such as the radio, lights, etc) pick the program you with to load into the ecm. select it, and press the button to continue.

But, they do have a nice diagram showing which fuses to pull

So even though before I posted I was directed to the cigarette lighter fuse by the diablo website, I somehow couldn't find it. I even looked at my owner manual. A fried stopped by and I asked him to find it, sure enough he found it in 10 seconds. Wow do I feel stupid.

Acutally, I know a guy that didn't turn the key far enough the first time he tried his programmer out and wondered http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/wtf.gif..... I'll give you one guess as to who he is http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif

I pulled my fuses the first 2 times i installed a tune... after that I said screw it. Onstar connects every 10 or 15 minutes whatever it is. I figure I can have the program on in 2-3 minutes what are the odds lol. Oh well nothing has messed up yet.

If the cigar fuse is on Diablo's website, it's because I told them about it. When I called them, they did not have a clue except, "If it works on another car, then there is something wrong with your truck"

Not to get off the subject of the Predator, but when I tried loading the Hypertech program WITH the Onstar fuse pulled, as indicated in the instructions, it would not load. It got up to about 70% and then stopped and said to call Hypertech. I reinstalled the fuse, and it loaded with no problem. Go figure.
