Go to the dealer have them reflash your truck with a Tech II. Say you want your computer updated.

try and find a buddy or something cause if he checks the key counts and see's theres 0 and that there is a program entered he may try and void your warranty

I would keep looking for your programmer. Mine stays in the truck all the time.

Just curious as to why y'all leave the programmer in the truck? I'd be worried about someone breaking in and stealing it leaving me with the same problem the o/p has now. I leave mine in the box in came in at home where I know it's safe.

So when I am out on the road, I can clear codes if one comes up, change program, or check the engine for anything. Mine stays in the truck, no biggie...well hidden. :D

Even though I've switched to EFILive I kee my Superchips programmer in the truck in case I ever need to read and reset any DTC codes during a trip away from home.

For anyone concerned about security, there's a nice vehicle console safe available at http://www.corporatetravelsafety.com/catalog/vehicle-console-vault-p-570.html that's designed to fit our consoles. They have them for both the classic and new body styles.

Ahh, that makes sense. I've never given that a thought since I have a ScanGauge.

I keep mine in the truck on long trips in case I have an issue and need to go to a dealer for something. So I can put it back to stock in case they reflash anything while I'm there.
