well took the truck into a shop today cuz of the front end pop. I was warned a few months back that tierods wouldn't last long. Well they are done along with the idler arm. They said the idler arm and the inner and outer tierods. My question is when upgrading to the Cognito's what do I all need to buy. THis is the list thus far:
2001-Present GM 8Lug Heavy Duty OE Style Tie-rods TRK100045
2001 - Present GM 8-Lug Idler Pivot Assembly IPAWG8
Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit (8-Lug) PISK2008
plus a moog pitman/idler arm replacement.
I think that covers everything. Post the other parts if I am wrong. I might toss in the upper control arms but will pass on the shocks and sway bar end links cuz the next upgrade is the 4-6" cognito. Uness the leveled shocks will fit in the shock hoops. Also how hard is the install of these? I was thinking just measure the total Tierod lenght match that and it should be good enough to get to an alighment shop (about 5miles away).
