I am about to order a pyro gauge and mechanical boost gauge. I am looking at the autometer sportcomp II series. It says the pyro kit includes with a gauge wire harness and k type thermocouple. The boost kit has fittings and 6 feet of tubing. Will I need anything else to install the gauges. I am planning? I am assuming 6 ft of tubing is not going to be enough to get to my overhead console. Do I need to order a special longer tube? Thanks.

When i helped my bro run his to his overhead compartment, iirc the wires and tubing were not long enough. We decided to go through the firewall on the passenger side and in doing so had enough tubing and pyro to make it to the overhead. I can't remember if we had to drill a new hole or use an exsiting one, but make sure you have a grommet so the tubing does wear against the metal. Another thing is if you have a overhead with switches and aren't going to use them yet run the wires down the pillars so you don't have to tear it all back apart. Hope this helps--
On edit: they are the exact guages you are looking at

Thanks, thats nice to know.
Hey guys.... I just recieved an ISSPRO dual gauge kit from Diesel Manor. Kit looks pretty complete with all gauges and necessary hardware, pillar mount, wiring, fittings, instructions etc. One nice thing I found that they have is the pyro gauge for an extra 17 bucks comes with a weatherpak connector. Cost for the whole thing was 250 bucks.
