Fuel pump took a s!!! on the freeway yesterday. I had the stock program back in by the time the tow truck got there--no questions asked by the dealer. I have friends w/ Edge's that definitely work better, but the warranty issue has always been a concern--think I'll wait until 36,000 miles & then do it up trans. & all.

Last time I went to the dealer I stoped in the supermarket parking lot across the street and unhooked it and threw it into my tool box and rejuiced it in the same parkinglot after I picked it up:muahaha:

You can remove all traces of the Juice/Atittude before the tow truck gets to your truck, just don't call until it`s removed :D

I'm taking mine to the dealer next week for reflash and transfer case seal. Leaving juice/attitude in. I'll let you know how it goes! I called the dealer and told him, I've got a programmer and 285's, is that a problem. He said only if it were for engine/tranny issues, not just general concerns.... we'll see. I'm just hoping the tech's don't go for a joyride on level 5 and limp my tranny!

What about the monitor mount, mysterious wires through the firewall, and pyrometer connection leading to nowhere? I'm inclined to think these might be questioned.

Along these lines, the programmer does have a removal benifit. MY WIFE!

Unfortunatley she drives the truck every now and then. She can remove the Quad in no time. She is not so happy about removing the juice. I already quized her on that, no go.

Just hope a GM rep won't be there and cause you any grief if they see it.

So, does the Attitude comes w/ a Pyrometer probe + wires that you can install at the passenger side exhaust manifold (or anywhere else)?
If the answer's Yes. Is it compatible to let say Autometer's Pyrometer probe?

If so, let say that you have an A-pillar gauge pod w/ a pyrometer and boost. Could you use the same probe signal for both the a-pillar and the Attitude?
That would be nice then to just remove that connection for the attitude and the console itself along with the module prior to the visit to the stealer. Thought it would satisfy stealer's curiosity...):h regarding the existense of the Edge on your truck...

Once again, I am not sure whether the probe from Autometer pyro is compatible w/ the Edge Attitude's or vice versa so if it's not then this won't work...

I am about the install the pyro and boost gauge on the a-pillar and would like to get the Edge w/ attitude later on...

Edge proble will work on most gauges

Edge proble will work on most gaugesThen can you run the same signal for both the Attitude and gauge? It would be interesting to compare the gauge against the attitude...

You most likely screwed yourself for all engine and transmission work you may need done from here on till the warranty ends. Which you just ended it! Why would you tell them? Now they can and probably will void any and all further work regardless of reason.

I'm not sure about that--I have the pyrometer & boost gauge & am not worried about the dealer finding those since all they do is monitor. If you're getting those gauges, you should check out trippin's mount(he's a sponsor or something here). It fits in the pocket where the map lights are & looks like it came from the factory.

The fastest tune to remove are the non-Pyro harness boxes or the custom ECM's on the LLY's. Less than a minute. I've changed ALOT of tunes. :D

Nitrous is a PITA though... ;)

I was not saying that I would be worried about the pyro and boost gauge. I was just suggesting that if you have an Edge/Attitude (which requires the probe from the sounds) to monitor EGT, you could use the Pyro gauge as a decoy sort to speak. That way the dealer wouldn't question the existence of the pyro probe w/o a gauge to read it...

I am starting w/ gauges then go to Edge Attitude later... So, I will probably setup the attitude monitor at an easy to remove location for the occasional trip to the dealer...

I agree they will most likely never warrenty anything for you now and they may BLACK LIST you in the computer so that anywhere you go the dealer can look up on their computer and see where the other dealership put in there CAUTION computer chip added. But that is most likely not gonna happen but I have heard of it happening.Censored Good luck I guess is all I can tell ya.
