Has anyone replaced the stock bose sub with a bigger one?

I have a buddy that runs the install department at Cartoyz and I asked him the same question and he told me that they had a installer try it once and it wasn't worth it. And the bose system doesn't put out enough power for a real sub.....

i just hooked up a sub-amp all in one under the rear pass seat & wired speaker level in puts to the wires that come out of the amp in the center consol that go to the bose sub.. dont try to wire any sub up to the door speakers cause their is a built in x over that blocks most of the base..
