anybody have any advice, tips, tricks on getting a broken exhaust manifold bolt out of a aluminum head?

An exhaust leak developed a couple of days ago and noticed the very rear driver side manifold bolt was loose, real loose. Actually it was broken and the head fell off as soon as I touched it. It appears to be broken flush with the head and in the least accesible location [right next to the firewall].

Is there a problem with these trucks/bolts? Don't know if its a coincidence or not but this is the 2nd broken manifold bolt on a NBS truck that i've heard about in the last month.

getting kinda pissed off, I've only owned this truck for 2wks

Any help appreciated

Sorry, man, I had the same thing happen on my 1995. Both sides. I could not find any good solution....actually I broke an EZ-out off in the broken bolt, so I am really screwed now. I ended up putting some aluminum gaskets on the truck (expensive ones from Jegs or Summit that were supposed to seal anything). They do pretty good, don't blow out, but I have to tighten them every couple of months.

I wonder why the back ones always break off?
