Well as I knew I was on borrowed time with the SB single disc thats in my truck. Anyone have any luck with Spec or any other company, because in reality I am not going to spend 2+ grand on a clutch for a south bend and the other fact they state is using upgraded hydraulics for their double disc, however I have yet to find anywhere that sells upgrade hydraulics for our trucks. I'd really appreciate some info. The clutch still has some time left in it as it only slips on my big race tune.

Upgraded hydrolics are only for the Iron Giant as far as I know. My dual disc sure doesn't need one. The dual disc is the best route to go imo.

What material is your clutch disc made out of?

^^^ I'm not sure, its the SB clutch rated for 450 HP, and obviously i'm making more than it can handle lol.

Give Dan @ Valair Performace Diesel Clutches a call. I got my dual disc from him, and its held up great. I've been beaten on it for more than a year and no issues.

Lets please not make this a bashing thread. I was just letting jon5212 know that there are other options other than SBC. And I have no issues against SBC, they make a nice product for the Zf-6.
