I want to purchase a maintenance and service manual for a '99 Suburban 4WD (K1500).

Any suggestions on where and what to purchase?

Thanks. Brian.

Yes, they have hard copy of Haynes. I was thinking about a CD or PDF download, something with more detail that the hardcopy haynes or chilton.

What do you thing?

Thanks. Brian.

JimJim,

Thanks for the info'. You're right they're not cheap--$135 for the maint. manual for the 99 Suburban.

Any other alternatives? Has anyone used All Data's online service? Does All Data allow you to download PDF's?

Thanks. Brian.

I had a 99 SUB and sold my factory manuals after I sold my truck for $40. SInce that time I have bought two sets of manuals from Helm for two seperate GM trucks that I have purchased. Either look on Ebay or order from Helm. I would not bother with Haynes. The extra cost is well worth it.

On the same subject, I will be selling my manuals for 2000 Chevrolet Blazer if anyone would like them.

Has anyone tried Alldata.com, they have some sort of relationship with autozone for the do-it-yourselfer?

Where can I buy a manual for the 2500 HD, I tried Helminc.com and they don't have anything?

Thanks. Brian.

Before I bought any of those manuals I would look through them real close. Some of them do not go into much detail, very basic. I got one for a 2000 Tahoe not sure what brand it was, but it did not go into step by step detail, and didn't have real good diagrams.

helminc didn't have a manual for a 2500HD? don't quite believe that. That is where I got my manuals for my 2500HD. Think you better go try that again.

Jim,

Thanks for the response--went back to the website and got no where, guess I'm too dense. If you can send me a link. Thanks again. Brian.

Hound,

Thanks. Doesn't say 2500hd specifically, but I guess that's it.
