This morning on the highway, while I was in some traffic, my truck started to surge or buck at about 35Mph or so, under light acceleration... It did it three or four seperate times, and of course I never looked at the tach to see if it was the engine surging or the transmsision. The only codes I had where unrelated (B2575 - ALC Headlamp Voltage Out of Range, and U1000 - No Class 2 Comm ID Not Learned, both Module 10). It was not a subtle surge either... it was very noticable. Any ideas what it could have been?

Cougar,

I have not had that happen yet, but have noticed others mention it. How many miles do you now have. Not to hijack your thread, but I too found the Headlamp code in my history log, and was thinking it was related to my "All Headlight-on" mod  . I am using the diodes between the relay version. Do you have this headlight mod or another on yours?

I only have the diode going from the low beams to the Fog lights (so the fogs are on if the headlights are on; I don't need to remember to push the button). I had the same thought that maybe that's what is causing it (the code)...

I have about 29,800 miles on my truck, give or take a few.

Oh... I forgot to mention I had the truck in T/H and I think it was in 3rd gear at the time.
