I have done some searching and can't really find anything. I have 4ga. power and need to get it behind my back seat (01 cc) and what battery should I use? Is there a grommet I can use or do I have to drill a new hole? Thanks

I posted about this a while ago and found that most guys just used the jumper cable spot to hook up to.

As far as running the wire, unless you have the plow package you'll have to punch a new hole in the firewall. Although I think when I put in my stereo i'll run it under the cab and in through the vent on the back of the cab since the amps will be there anyway.

I don't think it matters what battery you go to, but I would go to a battery not the jumper for less resistance. In addition, I would avoid going under the truck unless you use a weather tight flex conduit you don't want it grounding out on anything.
