A guy I know is selling a 2003 reg. cab with 75,000 miles on it for $7000.

All used vehicles have been going up in value for several months now. I'm a wholesaler...

That's high but reg cabs can bring more though with the right buyer, so I wouldn't be surprised if they can get close to that.

national average wholesale on that truck is right at $12,500 right now...so that's what they should have in it + recon and markup--$14,000-$14,500 sounds fair to me.

Hell NO that waay to high for that truck. I would say 13K out the door. Hell you can go find an LB7 for that price. Or an 8.1 for 10K or under.

I bought my 06 RCLB LBZ with 35k on the clock and a 8' Fisher plow for $19,900 back in Feb. IMO that is too much money for a gasser, $12-$13k at most.

I think it's too high, and I would say you have about 5% of the population looking for a regular cab, so when you go to sell it, you have a narrow market. I would check around, even your dealerships, including Ford and Dodge, someone gets frustrated and trades? Check out Craigslist, that site is out of control here in Minnesota. That manual would be a good idea but again, what kind of resale will it bring, just some thoughts I guess.

ya, its high even for a 2006, remember we are in 2009 right now, 2010 models will be out in 3-4 months. Looks like a pretty low end model, no power mirrors, no electronic tranferscase.

Here's one near my house. I actually talked to the guy before pics were posted and he's flexible and it sounds pretty clean.
