: Anyone going deaf like me?

Since installing my new exhaust (love it by the way), I am having a hard time hearing my turn signal indicators in my '95. I have worked as a Millwright for 20+ years so I know my hearing is getting bad, however I can't be the only one with this problem. It is very embarassing to drive over a bridge with your left turn signal on. Does anyone know of a appauratus other than a heavy duty flasher which I have already tried. Some kind of beeper or ? Not diesel related other than the engine noise I know.

Install another light that will flash along with the turn signal flasher and mount it on top of your dash. Unless you have serious tunnel vision (not trying to be mean) you will see it indoubtedly! Hope this helps.

And yes, I am going deaf too. I am only 24 though. A mean combination of chainsaws and shotguns.

I remember a "trick" I heard about decades ago (although I've never tried it).

On the flasher unit that had a clip on it, take an empty food can (like a tuna can), and attach it to the flasher. I was told that the "click" sound would echo inside the can, and make it more audible. It might be worth trying.

You can buy electronic falsher with sounds, might be an option or mirror with the LED's in them might be easier to see and remember.

steely - you might have to order one, but a "loud" turn signal flasher is available for your truck..(The part number I list at napa is LF-12)
