Is it possible that my edge went bad?Limped today so i pulled it out to get ready to go to the dealers and my truck runs fine.

There has been lots of reported problems with the Edge.

Doubt the Edge is bad but more like you either fuel or trans limped it... What level were you at...?

Need the codes as to what happened, also just pulling over and shutting it off for a few will most times reset either a tranny or fuel code and you can continue on...

I run it on #3.I have to read the codes yet but the little engine didn't flash on the dash. The last time i took everything off i removed finger and block plate.Kitty delete pipe is still in play and the dealer did say something about my egr but i would have to dig up the paper work.Today it did it again and i pulled into a parking lot dropped it into
2nd gear and it snapped back and ran fine the reat of the way home.Put finger and blocker back in and see what happens?

I had problems with Edge products but they made good on it. I was told that if there is a problem someplace the Edge will magnify it. I was using biodiesel in the winter and there was a problem with it due to the cold, it starting to limp and as I drove I kept replacing the biodiesel with reguler diesel as I drove and I also disconnected the edge. That fixed it and I eventually reconnected to edge. Haven't had any problems since but I do intened on installing a lift pump in the near future.

njloco...?

What would you need a lift pump for...? Even with the Edge on level 5 or unlocked to level 6 the CP3 can draw all it needs without a lift pump... The FPRV might come closer to being an issue...?

Also something to point out is the connections for the Edge at the engine harness... Be sure to look very close at all the pins on both sides (all 8 connectors) for anything out of place as this can be a problem area and cause issues that dont make sense...

FPRV ?And i allways ran with defueled shift setting figured it would help save my trans.
Does any body think its the cat delete without the fingerstick.I know i need to go get
the predator to check my codes and when i'm done i can stack it with the edge.

Fuel Pressure Relief Valve... code P1093/P1094 is what you might find when you can read the codes...

Also with a stock tranny I would be very careful of stacking or even running the Edge on anything over level 3... Many on here will tell you the same thing its not a gamble on will it hurt my trans or not its just a matter of when... Trust me I`m learning too (the hard way) but am saving right now for a new built trans...

Might want to have your buddy check the history codes not the current codes... ;)

I found with using my Genesis scanner that most of the time under current codes it did not show anything but when I went to "history" codes it revealed alot more...

Mine gave me problems with the EGT gauge last week I unhooked the damn probe. If I would have known about this site before I bought the programmer I would've went with EFI Live and gauges. Now once I get the money for all that the Edge is getting grounded ( I'm ripping it out and throwing it on the ground )

I've been running the Edge for almost 3 years now. I have limped the truck 4x and the problem was never the Edge, but usually fuel filters or the fuel itself.
