Avoid Victor in Corona. Not sure they know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Where in SoCal are you?

I've had good luck at Classic Chevy in Anaheim Hills....

socaldieseltech referred me to Quality Chevrolet in Escondido. He used to work there. I go to People's Chevrolet down in Chula Vista. They don't work on diesel's specifically but they have taken good care of my glow plug module and intermediate steering shaft with no problems (programmers and all). I've had a bad experience with Ron Baker in National City so I'd avoid them (they lied to me and bent my bumper).

Call Tim,service writer at Tustin GMC, in the Tustin Auto Mall. He has a very good diesel tech.

I think there is an actual GMC/Chevy truck stealer in San Diego.

I've had great luck with Bob Baker Chevy in El Cajon.
I use Greg White in Service.

I always get the satisfaction survey calls and they always remind me they'd like a good rating.

If you're in escondido go to quality chevrolet. Tustin GMC? I think Blinky had issues there. They said he had a programmer and tried to get nasty.

I always get the satisfaction survey calls and they always remind me they'd like a good rating. Used them before I found People's in Chula Vista. They treated me well with my 2000 1500 truck.

People's has me fill out the survey (with good marks of course) and bring it back to them. They gave me a free detail last time. Washed waxed the exterior, shampoo'd the interior and cleaned the engine. I'll probably get another one for the int. steering shaft replacement.
