Was thinking the other day, what if I could use that 6.2 manifold on my 6.5T engine?
The upper snorkle piece looks much more reasonable flowing than stock, plus it oriented tha right way for the intercooler setup. I could then either relocate the fuel filter housing, or fabricate some attachement tabs.

The question is, it has only two bolts attaching the upper piece it to the manifold itself, do you think they will hold the boost?

I don't think that setup would have enough clamping force to contain boost pressure.

On the other hand Banks was offering a turbocharging kit for 6.2 and from what I can tell (the pictures), they used the same airbox. I guess I'll just have to find out...

The time spent trying to retrofit that intake, you could probably fab a whole new one. That is if the 2 bolts you do have don't line up. If they do, you could try getting a new and better gasket or making your own with a silicon type. But making a new one, you could cut the mounting flange off the one you have and go from there---that's where good friends come in handy!

The 6.2 intake will fit the 6.5 and a setup could be built to hold reasonable mounts of boost, like the one shown if used with the right gasket and bolts.
