I'm about to order autometer gauges for my truck. On the boost gauge, it appears that it comes with a T-fitting (which doesnt work on an LLY b/c there is no wastegate). So my question is, is there a connector that comes with the gauge that can be threaded into a tapped hole on the intercooler pipes? Or even fit that replacment section of pipe made by Super Diesel? BTW, this is for the gauge #5741.

Also, I am ordering an oil temp gauge. I want to try to put its sender in a port on the oil filter housing. Has anyone done this? If so did the connectors supplied fit the threads on the oil filter housing? If I cant get this to work I'll prob just weld a nut to the oil pan. Also, there are two that im looking at one that is mechanical one that is electrical. What are the pros and cons to both? I assume the attaching the sender is the same with both.

05Dmax, I used the port on the filter housing to hook up my oil temp gauge. My truck is an '02, so not sure if it the same on yours. Also, my gauge was a Quad Monster Monitor(digital readout), and it threaded right up.

The SuperDiesel manifold accepts the 1/8th inch fittings supplied with the Autometer boost gauges.

This may be of some help:
