I get this poping feeling in the seat back. Almost feels like there is a very thin piece of sheet metal in the seat back that pops in and out (like a snapple bottle cap movement).
It's anoying. Anybody have this problem?
I brought it to the dealer today and they ordered some seat support for the passanger side only - I said what about the driver side and the tech said when he has the passanger side apart he will look closer at the driver side.

Finally have a good way to describe this to my dealer. My seat does it in the shoulder blade region (top/center panel of seat back).

mine's been doing for a while now, to me I always thought it was a spring or something binding up, but since I'm long out of warranty miles I'm just going to deal with it.
I thought it was just me.

Mine only does it after I have burritos for lunch.

When they find out if that is the problem in the drivers seat, would you post the part no. for what they replaced.
Mine has been doing it for about a year, and thought it was my broad beam causing it.

Based on the response this thread is getting I'd be supprised if this is really a problem that can be fixed. I'm doubtfull that the part ordered by the tech will actually fix this. He wiggled the passanger head rest to show me how loose it was and he ordered some support bracket. Not sure exactly what part was ordered.
Sounds like I'm gonna have to learn to live with it.
I post how it turns out when it goes back in.

My wife has an 03 Yukon XL which she has been complaining of the same thing since new, and she's a light weight. I thought she was crazy until I felt the same thing in my 04 pick-up. Dealer just shakes his head and said its normal with fully adjustable seats. I only feel it when predator is turned up to 100hp.:D

Mine also, went back to the dealer for poping on acceleration and he replaced the upright seat back board. It is a molded piece of stiff board that helps the seat hold it's shape. Once they replaced it, no more pop. They know how to fix it, they might just want to try other things before replacing the back board. Push them to replace it first.

My 03 did it as well. My 04 hasn't yet but it probably will sooner or later. It looked like it was going to be a pretty major thing to fix on my 03. I ended up trading it so the dealer never looked at it.
