I bought the H2 rims from Boulder Accessories and will be getting either Michelins or Silent Armors put on soon. However, I have a question about the Tire Pressure Sensors. I want to keep my PYO's in tact and run them in the winter to protect the H2's from the salt. So I need to get new TP Sensors. Where is everyone getting their sensors when they get new wheels?

I could just run without them, but I'd rather not have to deal with the light on the dash reminding me all the time. I see GMPartsDirect has them for $39 + an additional $32 for shipping. That's nearly $200 just for another nuisance!! Is there another place to get them cheaper??

Now that I'm looking a bit harder, which ones do we need for the NBS 2500HD's?

No only if different rims.

No, the sensors are attached to the inside of the valve stem. When you get new tires, the "old" sensors are still on the rim. It's just that I've gotten new rims and don't want to tear down my old rims to harvest the sensors from there.

I got them at Discount Tire Direct and paid $30 a piece for them with free shipping. These are factory replacements so I was told Part#20153 also it is the same sensor that is used on the H2. The # for them is 1-800-707-8473 ( dont forget that you will need to get the dealership to recalibrate your on board computer with the minimum pressure set lower I set mine at 38lbs my tires call for a max pressure of 50lbs)
