Just joined and was browsing for the answer to my question and noticed that nobody really answers it here. Same problem everyone else with the LB7 is having not shifting when pegged to the floor. Everyone seems to think its the fuel filter and im gonna try that but no one actually says whether or not it worked just curious if anyone knows for sure it helps.

Problem is that most people are much more motivated to post when they're in a jam than once they're problem is solved! Welcome to the forum, you'll find alot of good information here and remember that hearing good news is just as important as the bad.

BTW. The reason the dirty fuel filter causes a problem is it puts the engine down on power. It doesn't have the power to make the shift point, so the shift will seem to hang.

Thanks for the info crafty guess i didnt look hard enough but ill try it and let everyone know if it fixes mine.

happy to report that the fuel filter fixed the problem. its shifting like a champ and haulin now.
