I have noticed lately that my truck will make a "funny whining" noise when I let up on the accelerator. I now have my windows rolled down and can hear it all the time. It is when I barely have the pedal pushed in but if it is idleing - NOTHING. Accereration - NOTHING. Cruising around town it is very noticeable with the pedal depressed minimally. If I push harder the sound goes away.

Any ideas? Or do I need to go faster and turn up the tunes more.?

your truck isn't in 4wd is it?

No. But funny you mentioned that. My 4x4 light on the gauge cluster no longer illuminates.
