I just bought a set of white door handles for my truck and am wondering if anyone has installed new handles.

What is the trick to doing it or is it pretty straight forward?

Thanks in advance.

You might get a door panel removal tool. Makes life much easier. Kinda like a tiny crowbar. It helps to pull the door clips without breaking them.

Consider anything else you want to do in the doors while you have the panels off. I have my chrome handles waiting in the box. I also have two "bulk packs" of Extreme DynaMat to put in. Bose speakers are crap, so I have Eclipse replacements to go in also. This way, the panels come off once instead of three times.

Ya, its really not that hard but I had a magnetic pick up tool which helped a bunch with getting nuts off and on the bolts. Not much room for your hands. I think there is some info in the how to section

Did you get OEM handles? What are the part numbers for those? Will the Tahoe/Suburban units be the same?

Thanks
