Just curious if any body has put headers on the Duramax ?

haven't heard of anyone doing it. Since it all goes through the turbo not sure the headers would give you much.

I've never even seen a set of headers on a turbo diesel. If they did make I know I wouldn't want to install them!!! Changing the fuel filter's bad enough.

ats makes a header for the cummins. supposed to flow better than stock to improve turbo lag and such. as far as i know, nothing exists yet for the dmax. it would be interesting to see if there is a decrease in egts, spool up time, etc.

...haven't seen any on a Duramax, but seen some on a Powerstroke.

If nothing else they weigh less than cast iron manifolds, therefore....you should know the rest...

Thats what I was thinking, i'm surprised that none of the vendors or techs have chimed in yet ? Where is McRats thoughts?
