i found a nice 93 6.5 turbo that i thinking of trading my old powerstroke for but i am told that the black box on the pump is bad is there a performance replacement for it? i didn't see anything for a 93 on heath's website for it. i found a bad ass mechanical pump and 40horse injector kit on ebay but that thing is a $1000

The 93 won't have a PMD (black box on the side of the pump). All mechanical. Ignore any horsepower claims you see on injectors, hogwash.

A 93 should be a mechanically injected. No black box to go bad.

1993's where mech. injected the last time I checked. No black box. Don't listen to the lies about horsepower on the injectors for these trucks.

And don't expect it to compare to your 06 cummins.........
