I have a 2002 LB7 ZF-6 36,xxx that surges only when it is cold and only for the first 2 minutes or so of driving (200-400 RPM). I have read most/all of the posts on this site concerning cold and warm surge; most do not fit my situation since it short lived. My dealer thinks that since it is not too noticable on the tach it is not worthy of diagnosis even though the truck bucks like a wild horse those first few minutes of life every day.
From what I read it may need of either a reflash or fuel pressure regulator. Any ideas? Or, which is most likely and is there anyway to reflash the computer off the truck (like if I send it somewhere) since my dealer will not do anything.
thanks
