First give me the year of your truck, then the number of times you limped it. Next what scanner was used to clear and reset taps, and how many Allys has your tech worked on. Any codes? ( probably not)

Also need to know if the sun is up at night.

And what color underware are you wearing when it downshifts hard..

Well, Mike might need that...hehhehee

I think all the 04.5's were LLY models.

Is it an 04.5 LLY or 04 LB7? Look at the 8th digit of the VIN and if it's a 1 its an LB7 and if it's a 2 it's an LLY.

Seems like I remember one solenoid being diff.? All the upgrades for the ally will work with either model though.

Taps must be reset one at a time. Doing all of them at once rarely works. Make sure you go through the whole proceedure on the Tech 2. ( C2 clutch applys while sitting still and dumps through C5 piston.) This whole proceedure takes about ten minutes. Early LLY and late LB7 Allison both have the G solenoid except LB7 is not activated ( programmed).
