My LLY has a funny idle that the dealer thinks is normal. I'm very picky about my vehicles and would like it to idle perfectly. The idle rpm variance is ~20rpm. I'm going to replace the FPR and would like to know the best (fastest) method of doing it. What needs to be removed? What gaskets will I need?
Thanks

Basically everything top end intake wise. It's on the pump, front center of the top of the block. It really is pretty normal with LLY's to lope a hair. Be extra prepared when you're PPE STD comes. Most aftermarket tunes will make it lope anyhow, new FPR or not.

How much lope is normal on the stock tune? It varies about 20rpm (not much)... Passenger's cant feel it unless i point it out. The service writer could barely feel it along with the tech. Fuel pressure is consistent at idle according to the gm tech also...
