So I had a little "incident" and busted the glass out and bent up my passenger rear view pretty bad. Easy fix, just head down to the junk yard, grab one, and replace.

Just wanted to check to see if anyone has done this before and if there are any potential issues to be aware of? Any tricks to getting the little cover off the bolt holding it to the body or just pop it off with a screw driver or something.

This should be a non-issue as the 93 had no power mirrors or housing around the mirror but I just wanted to cover my bases before completing.

There should be a cover on the inside of the door where the mirror mounts. Pop that off and you should be able to access the mounting hardware.

Thanks, off to the Junkyard tomorrow. Wost case AutoZone has a new one for $40. At least it wasn't the new car!
