I just spoke with the banks people about the warranty on the t304 ss and they said sometime the t 304 does not like heat and that the pipes will sometimes crack on the outside. Has anyone had this problem with this exhaust system or had any problems rusting out? thanks in advance. live in a salt climate so I worry about the rust problem.

my exhaust has surface rust on it after 2 years. salt is a big problem here year round either from salt air or ton of salt dumped on the roads in winter.

Banks uses a cheap grade of stainless steel, so you will see rust! And after 10 years or so, you will most likely need a new system. I really will be surprised if mine last 10 years, because after 3 winter, there is flaking rust.
