i think my new issue is my transmission, it does not slip or jerk or anything just shifts way too soon like goes thru the gears till its in fifth just cruisin at forty, like barely turns 1000rpms just stays in too high a gear so then when i get on it, it shifts lags a second because its bogged down in the gear its in so say im in fifth and get on it it shifts down to third which is the gear im guessing it shoulda been in then takes off from ther, like its just stayin bogged down in too high a gear barely turnin a 1000rpms, is this my trans causin this issue? want to do suncoast 4 or 5 with torque converter myself with friend cause never done a trans befor, but was not plannin on doin it quite yet, should i set back stock and take to dealer to be fixed under warranty or what can this be fixed

Mine will be in 5th sometimes at 45 mph. Then again it all depends what tune I'm running and how I'm driving at that moment.

Yea it could be a number of things but what i would and have done before is if you've got or you know someone with a PPE tuner and have the taps reset and the trans set in fast learn mode and drive it like you normaly would and if thats the issue it will relearn what it's suppose to do?

by the looks of your avatar it looks like you have larger than stock tires. Your problem may be that since you are getting an inaccurate speedodmeter readiing your transmission is rec.ivering the wrong speed information telling it when to shift. If this is tha case you just need a tuner to recalibrate your speedodmeter so it is accurate.

well i have efi and have put my trie sixe in the speedometer calculator acted fine a long time like that! she does blow more black smoke now used to only in my actually smoke tune and race tune when really on it, but now sometimes blowing smoke in economy and stock! EXTREMELY SLUGGISH and getting worst daily runs alot hotter and feels clogged up, realy really lags like push the pedal to floor and it'l be a good few befor she takes off! DOES NOT REMOTELY EVEN SOUND IDLE FEEL LIKE A DURAMAX i have now flashed it back stock! NO TUNING IN IT, now has the stock original 245's on not the big wheels/tires and only things left on it now are exhaust intake airdog 150 and gauges!!! i drove to dealer last night dropped off after hpurs we'l see waht they say
