Just got my new predator and at 6:00am this morning..on a quiet road,no traffic around I loaded 85 hp in. Did all the procedures properly unhooked the predator and started the engine. Placed it in drive and took off, not to hard but enough to try feel the new tune perform....then all of a sudden it was like it jumped out of gear ... seemed to stick in 2nd gear. So scared as hell i went to a approach and shut down the motor and reinstalled factory tune. Started her up and tried it....well it shifted perfect, except the light that looks like a motor stayed on.. what happened ? I hooked the predator up and erased the code ( tcm code ) but after erasing it still was there...till after i shut the motor off for about 20mins. then it went away.
So maybe I should have taken it easy and let the tranny learn ? tell whats up ?
Also I can't find the rev. limiter removal...it shows Max hp level or something...its set on 95hp and i can run it up to 125hp if i want..whats that all about ?

Looking forward to your answers
also i wanna know why it needs to know the tire width, height, and rim size when the axle option changes all the speedometer settings...

the ally shifts real funny when you load a tune into themax. it scared the sh*& outta me too! I recomment clearing codes, loading 65 tune and drive mildly aggressive for 2 days... you'll notice the shifts get tighter and tighter. the more you re-load tunes, the more the ally will be confused and "starting over" to learn what the engine is asking

You limped it. Start saving $$$$.
You can change the speed limiter up to 125. I don't think it changes the rev-limiter.
Make sure the rear gear seting is correct mine was off.
Load your stock tire size then your actual tire size. the speedo should be real close.
This all done in the Modify tune menu.

So limping is bad ?
Or is it a protection thing ?

It's both. It means your trans is slipping and it is doing what it can to prevent additional damage.

every time you limp it you hurt it... its just a matter of time before you notice it getting weaker..

Gees that really bugs me... buy a predator and limp your tranny..on 85hp yet... still think i should HAVE let the tranny learn for a few days before performing....BUT ITS SO TEMPTING TO FEEL THE POWER ):h .
