been lurking around... thought i needed to ask some ?s about an 01 ECLB i'm looking at.

went for a test drive & stopped to check engine etc out. while in park, it seemed to idle almost like it had a mild cam in it. i've read where this could be the fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. would this be covered under the 7/100k warranty? truck rode/drove great. i did notice that it seemed to cut out if i got on the accelerator & the tach went up to around 3k at around 30 MPH. streets were wet so i couldn't tell if i might have been spinning the tires.

i also got a VIN check done & came up with 'k5365 - module, transmission control - replace'. i'm confused as to what this might be? also '#v0755 - change pin location'. not sure what this could be either? and 'f1280 - propeller shaft assembly (between trans and rear different 15077434 - shaft'. did the dealer replace the drive shaft?

thanks in advance for any light anyone can shed on these issues.

I have a 2001 and it has always had that lumpy idle when cold,
and a bit when warmed up. The truck runs so good, I never even
thought of getting the program updates. I know all of the 2001 quirks, and
can live with them. Most dealers won't replace the FPR unless it's really
surging.

Mine is a 2001. Just had fuel rail replacement-first thought injectors. Had surge issue and replaced fuel regulator. 84,000 miles. Good luck

My 01 will surge on some brands of fuel. I try to get fuel near the highway if possible. Adding PS fuel additive always cleared up the rough idle for me.
