from what would work on a duramax w/ ZF6 ??? Just wondering how hard it would be to mod an aftermarket Dodge SMF for their ZF6 to fit GM. I would expect they are fairly close in size ???

Is dodge running the ZF6 now? I thoght that they are using the geartag unit?

I am curious, why couldn't a guy weld the stock DMF together and make an SMF out of it? It would then take a non-custom clutch and pressure plate (i.e. SouthBend) ?

I am looking into your idea but there appears to be three spring loaded discs inside so we would have to disassemble one and figure it out also, welding might cause some warping. I will make a post when we get some time to do some experimenting. . .
