Was just wondering how it works? Anyone have any feedback on it? I am well aware of the real transmission upgrades as I have an 02 Ram Cummins with a full DTT trans setup. I was just wondering if it can improve the allison enough to run higher box settings then 3 with my additude?:ro)

Someone may correct me here but I think a transGo alone will hold most mild boxes/tunes (no H/J's or Extremes). The problem is (and I'm in the same boat now) with the TransGo Kit it still requires the trans to come out and partial disassembly, so you might as well go for a Suncoast stage III (or something similar)

Transgo allows it to shift faster/firmer, after its installed, it must be tuned to match what kind of driving and feel you want.

max camper is right, it will allow you to hold more power, but not too much, as the weak link there is the TC.

You can do just a new TC and transgo and that should hold fine. The stock clutches are better than the ones which suncoast 3 replaces, but you might NEED to replace them if you run tunes without any trans upgrades, as you end up cooking them..
