I'm getting a noise from the front hub. This is a 2 WHEEL DRIVE truck. This is a rotating noise which increases in frequency and noise level with increasing speed.

Rotated the tires yesterday, front to back--back to front--same side, and the noise is worse. What should I do?

Check the hub bearing for play. Does the noise change when going into a corner?

Thanks. The noise doesn't change when cornering. It gets louder until about 55 MPH and then begins to drop. At 75 things quiet down a good bit.

This AM I jacked the front up and checked the tire for play--it didn't seem like much. The steering linkage had some play in it, but didn't seem excessive.

Seems like it might be the tires.
