racerx152 04-29-2009, 01:13 AM thanks for the push in the right direction on my smoking problem,the turbo broke the shaft and turbine was sitting in the exhaust.Fixed that problem but I go for a test drive and it pulls strong right up to 90k (about 55mph), is it possible that it was programmed to be governed to that speed?Its a ex canadian military truck.2003 lb7 crew jpolak07 04-29-2009, 07:54 PM It is very possbile it has a govenor on it. I had to pull the engine computer out and had it "flashed"? it now goes past 55,well it did, the crank broke at the first journal. Bought a used 6.6 from a wrecker,up and running again.Thanks again. | ||
