Yep so im closing in on my bumper to bumper warranty...
Hood stops...i cant get one to stay tight, and man going down the rd at 55-60 and pass a semi...wow i think myhood is going one of these times..
Seatbelt in the back doesnt work
Passenger window doesnt always want to go up from driver control..takes few button pushes to get it to go...and then its usually slow...
Squeak belt issues, esepically when its damp out...thing will kill your ears..this will be the 2nd time for this, gave me some bs the first go round...
SBS bulletin# 04-05-25-005A Sept 28 04 I get the SBS message quite a bit and thats annoying as hell to..This to only seems to happen most of the time when its damp or snowing. I have to have recently driven the truck, i wont get it on a first startup of the day or if it sets for several hrs... 2nd time for thisto, first time they said it was a gm software problem, and no known fix...
Its wet around the oil pan gasket..Dont know if a bit loose or maybe gasket is just bad or something...
Thats it, there are a few other things i want done, but not warranty stuff...I will have had the dmax 1 yr on may 1.. Truck has been 3 other times, so im not really a regular visitor...Just curious if you techs thing this is too much i guess...

My list is probably pickier than yours.

Upper and lower P/S hoses leaking
Oil seeping from between bellhousing and engine on drivers side
steering shaft rattle
seat has a mind of it's own
exahust gasket to P/S line contact
D/S Seat belt tensioner squeaks intermitently
Check Injectors
Brake booster recall, if applicable
Seat belt recall when applicable.
Any ECM/TCM/BCM/DDM/PDM updates

I don't think you're fussy http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

It sounds like you might get lucky with the seat belts; GM just announced a recall on them.

Here is the solution to the hood stops seeking a level of their own. Remove them and add a nut to the shaft, and reinstall them. Then take the "jam nut" and once set at the correct height, tighten the jam nut and walla, it is there to stay. This is just one of the many $$ saving ideas from GM to offset their $2B loss. JMHO.

Went in and made my appt last week. Going in thrus. We(me and service lady) and everything was a go except for the SBS...She just shook her head and said nope. I mentioned that i had read where this was would correct my problem. And she just shook her head...I want to print it off, but of course i got no printer to take it in and show it to there face....Ive never had any problems w/the brakes when it goes off, but its just really freakin annoying when it goes off....Well will see what happpens..
