jtaylor11 04-27-2009, 09:28 PM Man that thing is sweet. I have a 87 that I want to have that stance. Is it just bagged or body dropped too.
Dieseldad97 04-27-2009, 09:33 PM Great job!! That thing looks awesome!
TIM Z 04-27-2009, 09:39 PM You could post that truck every day and i'd never get tired of looking at it, FRICKEN SWEET!!
What did you tint your tails with?
toy_killa 04-27-2009, 09:45 PM seriously nice truck, love it, the hard work shows, just super clean

Definitely agree! That is one very slick ride. Love the new paint work! Very clean, simple, yet very trick. Nice work!

carter_44 04-28-2009, 12:29 AM very sinister looking rig. dropping a truck has always interested me but its unrealistic for the amount that im off road.
josh2500 04-28-2009, 01:01 AM thanks for all the good words. im glad other people like it as much as me!
as for the tails, we mixed black base with clear. i forget how many parts to eatchother but you basicaly make a single stage then wet sand then buff then clear that and wed sand and buff them. i mean they are BLACK but you can still see threw them alright. and when lights hit them you can see the different colors.
thanks again for the good words.

its just bagged, thought about bd'n it but decided against that. dont have the room in my shop to build a frame for it yet. probably once its payed off ill chop it up more. who knows. your 87 will sit lower then mine. the c series trucks have a shorter frame. itd be awsome if you bag it!!

honda_400ex 04-28-2009, 06:58 PM You put a NBS rear bumper on there too. That looks good.
josh2500 04-28-2009, 07:33 PM You put a NBS rear bumper on there too. That looks good.
yea, i hate the rear bumpers that come on these trucks and rollpans dont look good on dually's imo. so i picked up the nnbs bumper because i love the look of them. how the plastics and everything wrap. plus they look bad ass with painted plastics. just some minor triming of the plastic on the sides and they bolt right up. nice subtle mod. glad you noticed! not many people do.
think im going to get a vanity plate for it witch one does everyone like better jst-mny (just money) or pnydrpr (panty dropr)? ther both available.

That ones got my vote.
Brad92 04-28-2009, 07:49 PM x2
ryanryan 04-28-2009, 07:52 PM I'd go with pntydrpr if you were able to get 8 letters in your state. Without the T it is kind of hard to notice what it means. jst-mny sounds to gangster!
1lowdiesel 04-28-2009, 07:59 PM i hate you lol. looks awesome man. i kinda like the touch of the nnbs bumper. hoping to paint mine pretty soon as well. <>
josh2500 04-29-2009, 12:52 AM cant get 8 letters here. 7 is max.... i liked jst-mny because alot of people ask why i wasted money on a big truck just to put it on the ground. i tell them its just money who cares. pnydrpr comes from every chick i know here loves my truck. hahahaha.
thanks for the good words guys!!!

KWnotPete 04-29-2009, 01:31 PM City people amaze me...WHY ?? Nice truck but WHY ?? I guess I just don't understand...
Gruber 04-29-2009, 02:12 PM City people amaze me...WHY ?? Nice truck but WHY ?? I guess I just don't understand...
You country boys got to broaden your horizons. Why??????? you ask because he likes it:) With bags you don't have to drive it sitting so low.
I have a 60 Nomad that is bagged and some people say the same thing to me. Why? Because I like getting out and hitting the remote to slamm it:D I'm an old geezer too!
Josh you truck is awesome. It makes me wonder how my dually would look slammed with my Lance on it:D
admranger 04-29-2009, 04:29 PM For a vanity plate why not go with "bonestk" (bone stock)? Irony at its finest.
josh2500 04-29-2009, 06:23 PM City people amaze me...WHY ?? Nice truck but WHY ?? I guess I just don't understand...
because it doesnt look like every other black dully out there.
its just a truck, who cares. they made thousands. just becuse it cant go down some muddy ruts doesnt mean it cant pull your house. (can carry more then it could stock now) and city people. i live in portales new mexico. its the furthest away from a city you can get and still be in a "town". my grandpa ranch's and farms. we butcher our own beef and i plow the hell out of my dads 1/2 by 1/2 mile field. dont take me wrong im not a fan of any of the things i have to do but i help out. i know its not the biggist field ever. but i do some plowing!
and before anything is said about new mexico. im 100% white.
sorry, just had to explain some stuff there.
now on topic! i like bone stock. but just becuse of the comment im thinking jst-mny fits it.
thanks for all the good words.

honda_400ex 04-29-2009, 07:42 PM Josh, KW=CRAP is just jealous that his "Slammed in back 3 inches" can't compare to stance of your truck.
If i had the money for a 3rd truck, i would love a cclb dually sitting on the ground with some semi wheels just like yours. Anyone who bad mouths your truck is just jealous.
TIM Z 04-29-2009, 08:38 PM Hey Guys , If you Like the Truck then leave a compliment, If you dont then just read and dont post. Its a YES Or NO kinda thing, not inbetween.
Evry thread this guy has people have to comment about , well its too ,low or i couldnt have a lowered truck where i live" The roads where i live are terrible and i bet this truck would ride better than mine.
Who cares. This truck is badass . Nuff said. I appreciate all the work he's put in it.
fast80mc 04-29-2009, 10:27 PM That looks badass.Out of curiosity what does the drive height look like?
carter_44 04-29-2009, 10:48 PM For a vanity plate why not go with "bonestk" (bone stock)? Irony at its finest.
if i saw that going down the road i would interpret that as bone stick...just a thought.
josh2500 04-29-2009, 10:57 PM That looks badass.Out of curiosity what does the drive height look like?
my ride height is low. here it is.
http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb62/draginjosh/Picture121.jpg
my pressures at ride height. REALLY low for how heavy of a truck it is. means the bags were placed in the perfect spot.
http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb62/draginjosh/Picture122.jpg
tank pressure is the middle then its just how it looks on the rest.
thanks for the back up. it wasnt so much that he was "bashing" my truck. it was more being called a city boy when he has no clue. hahahaha
josh
Gruber 04-29-2009, 11:55 PM Josh How do you like you AVS stuff? Do you use a switch box to raise or lower air pressure? I have the Air Ride Tech e2 controller with the remote. I saw the Accuair control recently. They sure look more high tech than ART's. They also have a lot less wires to run to the controller.
josh2500 04-30-2009, 12:51 AM i like avs's stuff a whole lot. the gauges work better then some dakota digitals i had and look way better then any analog crap! i have a small 7 switch box. it has fbss on it. i was wanting to do the air ride tech auto height system but i didnt wanna spend that much. i thought hell i can auto level it myself lol.
my gauges were only 250, and my switch box was 110 i think. not to bad imo.

KWnotPete 04-30-2009, 04:11 AM Since when do we all have to agree on what we like?? Joss opened this thread asking us what we thought,so what if I don't agree with everything he has done. Its is a very nice looking ride,I'm sure it was before he did all the hard work and expense also. My opinion was just that ,my opinion...
And as far as Honda400ex goes,Why on earth would you call me jeaous just because my opion is differant than someone elses. We all have our trucks for alot of differant reason,Mine has a job to do.I may be wrong ,but I don't think Joss's truck,as it sets, would be the way to go for me...
Once again,Nice truck Joss and by the way, Honda 4oo's are nice rides too..My ex WIFE has one
