Hi, I have a 97 3500 4 door dually 4 x4 w/ 216km.and it has recently started stalling whenever it feels like, the pmd is not mounted on the bumper and i am pretty sure this is the problem. I was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable place to get a pmd only in Calgary Alberta. Thx. in advance for your replys.

try ebay. search "dipaco PMD" theres a guy who sells them from Quebec. shipping time wasnt too bad to toronto. Make sure you buy a resistor and 5ft extension harness as well, and when you mount it to a heatsink make sure you put thermal contact compound between the heatsink and the PMD, after that seal around it with RTV silicone

Unfortunately, that ebay vendor has earned a less favorable with some people here. My suggestion is to check with Heath Diesel if you are in Canada.

Not sure why you mentioned that the PCM is not mounted in the bumper. Mine is mounted under the bumper, it is a Heath kit that includes the PCM mou nted on a plate heat sink. If you look at my web site noted in my signature you will see it.

I had used several other heat sink mounted in the engine and they all failed.

:DYour trucks computer won't last long out there. Mine is in the dash where it belongs. LOL :D My pmd however is mounted behind the bumper.
