How good is the Manual Allison has available on their website (Publication SM3191EN)? I have a manual by ATSG for my Ford 4R70W, and it's ok, but I think it could be better.


What kind of information is in the manual besides teardown and rebuild? I don't have any plans on rebuilding the transmission, but I would like to learn more about it.

I find that I need all of them. ( Transgo, Allison, ATSG ). Allison facotry manual is updated a few times a year so some of the info could be old news.
