Hey guy's, I'm new here and my question is this: I have a 02' HD2500 Duramax/Allison with the standard juice installed. I have no other products installed such as I read in here about EGT or exhaust. Am I causing damage to my truck by not having these other products or are they just monitoring systems? Should I remove the juice from the truck until I get them? I have been running the juice for about 15,000 miles with no problems that I know of! Please help! I love the extra power and especially when I'm towing my camper. I have it programmed to only give 50 more horsepower when in T/H and the full 90 when T/H is off.

Towing without an EGT gauge is risky. I tow on level 1 (40hp) and we can hit 1300 degrees easily on the 6-7% grade passes here in Colorado. This is with stock exhaust and air filter. Not sure how much your camper weighs, our 5er is around 10k. I would at least get an EGT gauge so you know how hot you are running...
