: Suggestion for Edge Products?

first of all.... i say this very humbly, because i think they make amazing products.

i'm just wondering if anyone from edge reads these boards.... if so, i just had a couple thoughts....

first, perhaps they should consider putting a cable connector into the back of the attitude so that the cable could remain routed for every visit to papa. also, perhaps a product that only 'reads' info so that if the dealer asked about the cable, or even monitor that was in, and pyro guage, you could say it had a 'reading' product on it. or... we could just swap the enhancer with the reader. they would probably sell several to folks that want the dealer inquisition insurance.

next.... i thought it would be nice to be able to adjust boost levels real easy. maybe another up and down buttons on the right side? would be nice to swap from economy to smoke mode without a menu.

sincerely... i hope nobody takes this the wrong way... i'm just trying to be constructive. if i sold a product, i would want input.

if edge is reading... thanks for an amazing product!

Boost is completely managed by how much fuel (and low boost fueling) you select. All you could do would be to dilute or reduce the boost, which no one in their right mind would want to do (ok, maybe a monkey would http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif)

More fuel = more boost. That's it.

I think he meant the low boost fueling... instead of having to go to "juice configurations" then "low boost fueling", he would rather have up/down buttons on the right side to quickly adjust low boost fueling.

I think it would be really nice to have a good dealership "cover up" instead of having to take out the attitude.

Edge reads here.

Basically I think they should have allowed for the Attitude to be unplugged from the Controller and the box. Then you could just leave the wire to no where.

My only thought as to why then they would be in the business of ease of possible fraudulent GM warranty claims, just a suggestion as to their possible thoughts nothing implied.

Or it's just a over sight when manufactured.

To be honest I really have not noticed any difference in how my truck runs at different low boost fuel settings. There is the black smoke thing on fuel setting 5 to provide some amusement at times...
Interestingly enough my local Chevy dealer sells various modules/chips and simply says they need to be removed for diagnostics. The local D#*ge dealer goes out of his way to declare your warranty void...

Economy mode http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Put LBF on 5 and leave 'er there http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I shut off the defueling except for the 4-5 and she clicks 'em off better than ever.
