Ok, Sat was the day I installed the exhaust and Edge. I NOW finally understand why all of you are so craZy about the power. It can become a drug........ Now that I have had a chance to play around with the attitude, I have the display on 4 so I can see all the info. I have the lower left set at SLIP. Can any of you tell me what I'm looking at in reguards to the numbers it's giving me?? I ran it at stock and watched the numbers and on level 3 & 4. The numbers it's giving me, is kinda of deciving. What do I have to watch out for?? What is BackDown??
Thanks for the help

The percentage of slip is calculated from the engine RPM vs the output shaft of the tranny RPM. I don't know the exact formula or details but this is info that Edge gave me. If you have the TC locked the slip number should be 0%. If the TC isn't locked you'll have slip numbers (TC slips when not locked). I beleive the backdown you are talking about are limits set in the attitude to defuel under certain conditions such as high EGT's and Tranny slip.

The TC should automatically lock in 5th when the tranny is up to temp (not sure what temp that is). If you use the T/H button it will lock in 3rd 4th and 5th. I use the T/H when I want to get the power to the pavement. If you are just driving around I do not use the T/H since you get better fuel econ. without it. The backdown info is in the manual. If you don't have the manual you can download it from the www.edgeproducts.com
