just installed new 285/65/18 nitton terra grapplers. sidewall states max load at 80 psi. what tire pressure should i run front and rear for the best tire wear. i don't tow daily. just a 22 foot flats boat once or twice a week that weighs 3000 lbs.

While I don't have that size tire, my tires have the same max load psi. When empty, I run my fronts at 65 psi and the rears at 60 psi. You may have to do a some air pressure adjustment according to your tire wear.

little bit different tire myself as well but id just drive it a bit and watch your contact pattern i know when empty if i have 80 psi in the rear only the middle 5" of the tread touches the road. so empty its about 60. Though haulin my car around 75psi make good contact. and up front prolly 60 - 65 empty. just take a look at the tread you'll be able to tell whats touching just by what is scuffed and what isnt.

I just put on 295/70 R17 and max PSI is like 65, what should I run them at? Current pressure is around 45 ea.
Thanks

That's probably close, but you'll most likely have to watch the contact wear on your particular tires.
