hi, this is a real good site,ive got a q,just got a code 735 [5th gear ratio incorrect] so im slipping 5th gear,is there any chance if i install a transgo kit i can save the trans till my 06 gets here

If your buying a 06 just turn down the wick or remove the device that caused you to revert to safe mode.The damage is done

i haul a 2 car trailer [about 14,000 lbs].60,000 miles, 2002 cc 2wd, i talked to an allison shop they get $1400.00 to 1800.00 for a allison rebuilt w/2 year unlimited mile warrenty and about $550.00 labor,so i guess im going there

For that kind of money you should get an allison upgrade kit! Depending on where you are located, you might be able to hook up with Mike L. or Eric (dmaxallitech).

update.. its at the stealer again, they say its caused by a bad battery [ code 735 ],and my smoking exhaust isn't 1 and3 injectors at 7.5 and 7.4 but the bad batterys also,but they say they got my leaking ctr roof clearnce light fixed after 3 trys,, i'm just about done with gm

try a competent dealer, all of the big 3 are guilty of poor dealer quality. run it up the GM pole, there is a process for that.

update,, stealer just got done doing 1,3,5,7, inj's,but trans is ok [codes 735 and u2106 dont meen anything],, i just give up
