and I have questions.
1. My stock truck was pulling my rv (see signature) just fine. Do I have to pull in the tow level 2. I would like to keep it in economy mode level 1. Will I hurt anything?

2. On the EGT readings what am I looking for especially when towing? How hot is too hot?

3. Anybody experienced better fuel mileage with the EVO?

Leave it stock or level 1 for towing if that makes you feel comfortable. I tow in Level 2 for the additional torque. I try and keep it below 1375. If you spike to 1400 for a few seconds, dont worry about it.

Pulling 12-13K in level 2 at 70, I run anywhere from 1000-1200 degrees.

I have found that levels 3 and 4 have netted me my best mileage gains when empty.

Just heard Buck added a Turbo Brake in level 2.. So level 2 might be a better level for you..

X2 If the EGTs get over 1300 I will downshift to 5th. Sometimes that will lower the temp.

I tow 14K on level 2 all the time and hottest I ever seen is about 1350. Like Weejuns said, downshift to 5 or 4th if it gets high and makes you nerveous. The new level 2 with turbo brake is real smooth. I tried it for about 16 or so miles emply and it did slow down the truck but need to be in tow mode. I too get the best mileage in level 3. Trying level 1 for a week or so now and see if new tunes are different than previous versions.

Is the turbo brake on the edge evo or the race evo or both
