Depends wheather you have six or eight lugs. The six lug wheels still have a 5 1/2 inch bolt circle. What I have noticed is that while the 5 1/2 x 6 are the same, the center locating hole is smaller on the late wheels. Also offset has been changed.

Stock rims for mine are 16x6.5, 8-6.5.

Backspacing and offset can be different on different (newer) rims. Duallys have different rims with a backspacing that allows switching rims from front to rear so that you don't need two spare tires.

thr truck is an 8 lug. Is the botl pattern the same for the duramax and h2 hummer? I am looking for some factory type wheels to give the truck a newer factory look. If the back spacing is an issue I will get spacers. I have a set of billet inch and a quarter spacers already from my old 05 Cummins.

bolt pattern is the same on all gm 8 bolts.....

so ya just about anything will bolt on....its if its hitting your tie rod or not is the question

Personally i dont like the newer wheels on these old trucks, it just doesnt look right.

Best thing is the baja style or just chrome steel holes or slots.

I REALLY like the ones on my truck......but id imagine someone spent about $400 each on them.....their loss my gain!!

I just bought these for my 83 (6" lift and 37x14.5x17 Toyo's) from Summit Racing. They are 17x9, 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern and cost $411 for a set of four with center caps to my door. And they look AWESOME on the truck! I have been shopping for wheels for months for my truck and Summit Racing has the best price.

I put the wheels and tires on Thursday and the transmission went out on Saturday so the only picture I have of the truck right now is it on a wrecker. Truck should be ready today or tomorrow so I will get some pics up then.

It is the 700r4, I was having trouble with it prior to the wheels and tires. I picked it up today and still does not shift right. The shop rebuilt the tranny and said there were some linkage parts broke inside. I am pretty sure they did not replace the detent cable and I think it needs to be replaced. Sometimes it shifts normal but after it gets hot it won't shift properly, really have to wind out first gear. Any ideas?

If it's been rebuilt and still doesn't work right, take it back and have them fix it under warranty. A new TV cable can make quite a difference.
