Looking to buy a NEW chip. Wanting to see what others think would be better? Heard many good things about both and would like to see what others think would be the fastest, best fuel milage, which have the best driveablity, and most of all the safest? I already have gauges and have 6 speed so I know clutch up grade is a must even if I was just going put a K&N her. DMF-:t Oh yes I know I can stack the two but I don't need that much power.:driver:

I'm on the fence on this one. The J/A is great and provides a lot of good power for day to day driving. The new Quad provides insane power as the 215 tune is for racing. By the way, there is no such thing as too much powerhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif

I just installed the Edge With Attitude, and love it. I put 200+ miles on it and have had no problem. I gained 2 mpg with it. Performance is awesome. Level 5 (125hp)
0-60 in 6.5 sec. 1/4 mile in low to mid 14s at 90 to 93mph.

So you are getting at least miles per gallon better with the 125 horsepower Juice while running 1/4 mile, and 0-60`s? That`s a good one! :blahblah: You must have run nothing but to the floor before to see these improvementsCensored
I don't understand why people thing they need to lie, when most already know the truth. Maybe if you run more 0-60`s and 1/4 mile runs, you can get the mileage up another 2-4 mpg

You need an upgraded clutch and flywheel to run the bigger quad tunes and the hot juice would blow stuff up too I'm sure.

I ran a juice and liked it quite a bit. lotsa nifty features and cool bells and wistles.

Also I read where someone had wrote about Bursting and Fishbites. What are these and does it hurt the engine and the driveability of the truck. I do some pulling on the farm. Also do you have to run a lift pump to use the Quad 215?:nutkick: I want something that I can drive on a day to day basis but when I want to impress my friends or to beat some ricer ( not that it too hard to do to some stock) I want it to flat foot get it and leave them in the smoke. :grd: I like that fact that it'll take off the top speed limiter and tire size. Not sure that I am crazy about the RPMs raiser. Have anyone up'ed it? It could really benifit me seeings how I have a 6 speed but don't know how the Duramax will handle it. Input NEEDED!:help:

Edit. sorry I see you dont have a prob upgrading the DMF.

Stacking the edge on the quad wont yield you a ton of power more power over just the quad by itself. A program that offers GREAT driveability ect is the TTS Xtreme. Its a running MF, switchable on the fly and very driveable. A hot juice is also a pretty strong runner. The quad 215 runs harder than the juice.

for a good stack i think the TTs and hjat do really good because u can change the xtream when ever you need it

For the Power to Dollars ratio the Quad will be hard to beat but you will still have to buy gauges and no on the fly settings but speed limit defeat.

The Edge has on the fly and Monitoring abilities no speed defeat, but has all the power you can handle stock.

In the end it's your choice, what matters most to you or buy both!

I'm sure it's off by a bit because you can't build boost. The Attitude starts recording the second you touch the accelerator.

ecc 33, IF you also notice Boombastic has an upgraded transmission. I do believe you can easily take another half second off due to this. If you have a stock tranny and running what you have, your going to slip the Alli. Upgraded trannys make a big difference when getting the power to the pavement. I just waiting for the Ben Franklin fund to have enough to visit Mike L. and do it.
