I have a tear in the blue factory boot on the inlet to my turbo. I need to replace it, so I went to the dealer and they showed me the diagram of a stock turbo replacement parts. Nothing close to mine, all they could order me was a new inlet pipe, don't need the pipe just the boot. Any help would be appreciated. I looked at GMPARTSDIRECT.com and one gasket came up PART #97192618. Anybody replaced one with a better one?

Have you thought about the SD boost manifold? SoCal Diesel carries them. They have different ports for any kind of injection or boost sensor insertion. Just a thought.

Good idea but $125 is quite expensive for a boot. Call me crazy.

Thanks RKD, nice website. I ordered one at the other dealer in town. We found it on the intercooler diagrams. It is a called a "connector" for intercooler inlet. $22 hopefully this is what I need, it'll be here tomorrow.

You're crazy, but then again so am I. I think it's pretty darn expensive too.:D

Plus I think it was not exactly what I need now that I further investigated it.

Picked up my new TURBO CONNECTOR, I call it a blue boot. The service manageer gave a whole list of torque specs. Trying to figure out what they call the clamps on this boot. TURBO OUTLET CLAMP sound right to anybody else? 81 in lbs.
